
Tom Paquin
Tom is the founder of Victory Flight Training, and serves our business-oriented clients as a business Leadership Instructor (non-CFI), focusing on the application of the Victory Mindset to life and work. Following graduation from Embry Riddle, Tom served as an officer and F/A-18 pilot in the Marine Corps, including missions over Afghanistan after 9/11. Tom left active duty in order to start several renewable energy companies, growing revenues from zero to $1 billion in less than 10 years. His current business effort will make home ownership and real estate investment more convenient and less stressful for military members and veterans (www.victorybase.com).
Chris Koelzer
Chris is a co-founder of Victory Flight Training and since 2018 has made Marchetti drivers out of over 100 pilots with diverse backgrounds…from 100-hour Cessna renters to Citation owners to 30,000-hr airline captains. He even taught the guy that made this snazzy website how to land the jet with Normalized Excellence. He has over 4,000 hours, mostly as a Marine Corps officer and F/A-18 pilot but more recently in the North American T-6 Texan and the S-211.

Scott Perdue
Scott “Gunny” Perdue started life as an enlisted Marine (Gunnery Sergeant) and jumped ship to join the Air Force to fly the F-4 and F-15E. He recently retired from a major airline. He was an Instructor Pilot in the Air Force and has taught in everything from Cessna 150s to Beechcraft Bonanzas, plus warbirds like the B-25, DC-3, and T-6. He’s also rated in the P-38, P-51, F-5/T-38, and L-39. He specializes in UPRT, with a Beechcraft F33C Aerobatic Bonanza and now the S-211.

Chuck Paquin
Chuck is a retired US Naval Aviator with several thousand hours in tactical aircraft, and over a thousand hours of T-45 jet instructor time. Chuck served in both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, flying from carriers as a squadron pilot and Air Wing Landing Signal Officer. He completed his Navy career as the Commanding Officer of Training Squadron Nine, and now flies B-737’s for Southwest Airlines.

Piercarlo Ciacchi
Piercarlo Ciacchi graduated from the Italian Air Force Academy and flew F-104 and F-16 fighters for five years. Selected in 2005 for the Italian National Team “FRECCE TRICOLORI, he flew MB339’s all over the world. He then moved to the US in 2015 and founded Spaceport Aviation, an aircraft flight school in Florida offering single/multi-engine, tailwheel, aerobatic, and high performance training. Nearby at the Kennedy Space Center, he works as the Director of Flight Ops for Starfighters Aerospace and flies as an F-104 instructor…AND he is our only ITALIAN pilot flying our ITALIAN S-211 jets!

Chris Holmes
Chris served 15 years in the U.S. Air Force, as a Crew Chief and maintenance instructor for the mighty F-15 Eagle. He’s currently a pilot for American Airlines, and based in the Dallas / Fort Worth area. Chris has over 10,000 hours of flight time and is typed rated in the 767, 757, 737, DC-9, A320, ERJ-145, and S-211. Chris is supported by his wife Sheree and their Vizsla named Boeing.

Edward Covington
Edward Covington is a turbine instructor and aerobatic pilot providing operational training and upset recovery instruction to aircraft owners and professional pilots. He specializes in single pilot jet instruction/mentoring, aerobatics, and jet acquisitions support. Edward has accumulated 5,000 flight hours and type ratings in the S-211, HondaJet, CitationJet, Eclipse 500, and Learjet 60. He is an ATP, CFI, CFII, MEI, with degrees in Economics and Business from the University of Colorado.
Becky Shaw
Becky is a former US Navy Test Pilot, with 2,000+ hrs in over 20 aircraft, including tactical jets, helicopters, and turboprops. She now flies for the NOAA as a Hurricane Hunter in the WP-3D Aircraft. Becky has a strong technical background with multiple degrees in Engineering from the US Naval Academy, Johns Hopkins, and University of Colorado. Her unique background will provide you a professional and fun experience, with new insights that will improve your skill set.
Chris DeLong
Chris "Caveman" DeLong is a retired USMC F/A-18 pilot currently flying for American Airlines. He is type rated in the BE-300, DC-9, 737, 757/767 and of course the S-211. Chris is a CFI, CFII, MEI and also a commercially rated helicopter pilot.

Jerod Flohr
Jerod is a full time professional pilot and a career instructor with almost 12,000 hours in many makes and models. Over half of his flight time is “dual given” instruction in aerobatic, warbird, and tailwheel aircraft (mainly T-28’s, T-6’s, and a TA-4 Skyhawk). Jerod has many hours as a check airman in aircraft such as Embraer 135’s and Gulfstream 550’s, as well as being an instructor and Mentor Pilot in the Piper Meridian, TBM900, PC-6/PC-12, Phenom 300, and Citation Mustang. Jerod is passionate about aviation, and his impressive range of experience gives him great depth of knowledge in helping pilots of all backgrounds fly safely and professionally.
Mark Ryan
Mark Ryan is an Air Force trained aviator that comes to us with a wealth of experience and an unrivaled passion for all things aviation. His background also includes corporate flying as an Embraer Phenom 100 and 300 captain. When he’s not flying upside down in our S-211’s, he is flying passengers across the country for a major airline...and thinking about flying upside down in one of our S-211s.

Frankie Dessuit
Frankie is self-proclaimed airplane nerd, a former F-16 Crew Chief, and a current bomb loader on the mighty A-10 Warthog with the U.S. Air Force. He is a CFI, CFII, and MEI and is typed in the Phenom 100, King Air 300, and S-211. He has over 6,000 hours of flight time in between multiple trips to Iraq and Afghanistan over his 17 years of service thus far. He currently flies for a Government contractor in various parts of the world.

James Webb
James Webb is a professional pilot with 11,000+ flight hours. He is an ATP in Single and Multi-Engine airplanes as well as rotorcraft, and a CFII/MEI with over 6,000 hours dual given. He has 8 type ratings and maintains currency in a number of jet transport and experimental aircraft, including the OV-10 Bronco. Home based in Southern California, he owns a Pitts S-2A and a Lancair 360 MKII. With a passion for aerobatics, instruction, and formation flying, he is eager to share the world of warbirds and their incredible capabilities with all of the aviation community. And for some strange reason, he also enjoys Negative Gs!

Todd MacLeod
Todd MacLeod is a full-time A320 Captain for American Airlines, based in Dallas. He has spent the majority of his professional career in some type of instructional role on everything from Cessnas to Gulfstreams. Todd’s passion for teaching and mentoring made Victory a perfect fit, and allowed him to fulfill a long-time goal of getting involved in the jet warbird community. Todd has over 11,000 hours in airplanes and helicopters, with Type Ratings in the B727, B757/767, A320, GV and S-211. He is a current CFI/CFII/MEI.

Dr. Chris Broyhill
Dr. Chris Broyhill is a retired USAF Fighter Weapons Instructor in the A-10 and F-16. He has flown business jets for over twenty years and is type-rated in the Falcon 7X, Falcon 900, Falcon 900 EASy, Falcon 2000 EX-EASy, G-IV, and HS-125. Chris is one of the business aviation industry’s most sought-after experts on compensation and is a frequent speaker at industry events. Chris has held several leadership positions and as a former Chief Pilot and Director of Aviation for two Fortune 100 companies. He is passionate about UPRT and specializes in that area.

Jake Patrick
Jake Patrick is a former US Navy F/A-18E/F Super Hornet pilot and instructor and current fire attack pilot, flying AT-802F FireBoss amphibian aircraft. He has extensive civilian experience during 15+ years as a CFI, flying over 100 different types of fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. He currently instructs in the S-211, AT-802F, business jets, seaplanes, and light GA aircraft. During fire season, he also serves as a federally-certified National Aerial Firefighting Academy Instructor.
